The Tarot have been used for centuries as a means of reading a person, deciding tough decisions, and even predicting the future. Every card has its own reading, which can be applied to any situation. And as I found out when applying it to my tabletop gaming, it applies to that, too!

Taroleplay combines two of my greatest passions: the Tarot, and tabletop roleplaying games. Within this book, each chapter covers how to use the Tarot to generate something at the table, either while you play another game or beforehand, to aid in prepwork and creativity.

The traditional meanings of each Tarot card have been rewritten through the lens of what you need as a gamemaster, so you can quickly create something useful with the flip of a card. Or two. Or more! Additional cards can be drawn to add complexity as desired.

This is the first chapter of Taroleplay. After a year of monthly chapter releases, it will be compiled into a full book, released in both PDF and Print.

The First Chapter covers how to generate a Plot. Use this chapter to give a character motivation, to add reason for why something is happening, or as a prompt to begin a new adventure.
